How we plan to move forward

The past few months have been quite easily the most difficult time we have ever experienced. Working to try and help retailers in any way possible, updating brands on who can pay what and when and most importantly for us with zero government help ensuring that Crosby Shoe Agencies is still able to trade. Fortunately all the above has been possible by the collective effort of getting through Covid together and for that we are very thankful.

It would be very easy to sit and dwell on how bad this situation has been (and we have had our moments) but we must move forward. So we think it is imperative to put a safe, effective and efficient plan together as to how we will. 

Therefore below is the early outlines as to how SS21 buying season will operate; 

3 ways to see the ranges - As it stands Moda have pushed their dates back to September, Pure London feel they will be able to go ahead with their planned show in July...which even if they were I think is irresponsible and OTS (Outdoor Trade Show) have made the decision to postpone this years show and move to next year. 

In the past we have used hotel stockrooms as our foremost selling format. This will continue but with very different guidelines as to ensure the safety and well being of everyone involved. 

Government depending, we plan to hold our stockrooms in the previous locations but appointments will be limited per day (still to finalise that). 

1st Option
Within the stockroom we will be conduct "normal appointments" (under government guidelines) with customers that wish to see the ranges in the flesh.

2nd Option
For customers that are unable or don't feel comfortable in seeing the range in the flesh we will arrange a Zoom Meeting wherein we will take you through the ranges digitally via video conference. 

3rd Option 
Out of hours shop visits. We would be happy to arrange a meeting out of normal shop trading hours - Our customers staff and customers' safety and well being is paramount and we would not want to jeopardise that. 


This is our 'opening gambit' if you like, we will continue to heed government advice between now and August and will update our plan where necessary.

For the time being stay safe and we look forward to seeing you in the near future in whatever capacity that is.
